My habitat and niche A niche is a job that an organism has in its habitat. In my habitat, my niche is to clean and to do well in school. I am also responsible for being a respectful person to everyone that I meet. My habitat is an average sized house next to the road, but I still have an average sized yard with several trees in it. I share my habitat with my mom, dad, brother, and three cats. My brother’s niche and mine are very similar, but he is no longer in school. But I can see both my niche, and my habitat changing in the near future. I will probably move to be closer to Pittsburgh or to my collage, and my niche will change to studding to become a renal doctor and working on my people skills. Although my brother and I have a similar niche, my father has a very different niche. His job is to work so that he can pay the bills, and he is also able to fix about anything that is broken.
